Who is Jenny
My name is Jenny Ho, a native Mandarin teacher. I have been teaching Mandarin in Tampa Bay area for years. I not just teach with experience and passion but also with profession. I have been certified by Wcla Taiwan and PSC held by National Language Committee, China. I have been trained to be a professional Mandarin teacher under the supervision of the most experienced teachers from WCLA Taiwan(華文會) and National Language Committee of China (中國國家語委會). With the experience and profession of teaching Chinese for years, I believe I can show you the fun and way to Chinese learning. Where is Jenny Currently I teach private one-on-one and small-group Mandarin classes in Tampa Bay area. What does Jenny teach Basic and Advanced Mandarin Chinese. In additioan to regular Chinese lessons, I also help the AP Chinese preparation. I teach both Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Students may choose to learn either one or both. Traditional Chinese (Standard Chinese) is the completed form of Chinese characters used in Taiwan, Hong Kong and most of the Chinese communities in the U.S.A.. As for Simplified Chinese characters,they are based mostly on popular cursive (caoshu) forms embodying graphic or phonetic simplifications of the "traditional" forms that were standardly used in printed text for over a thousand years. The government of the People's Republic of China has promoted it for use in printing in an attempt to increase literacy. They are officially used in Mainland China, Singapore and Malaysia. Basically these two kinds of Mandarin are the same, the differences are some characters, pronounciation and the terms.
